The declaration is a ritual thatconcludes the Icam training coursefor each student, signing the act of passage from studies to his or her new life as an Icam engineer.

Individually, the student declares before a jury chaired byan experienced Icam engineer, the way in which he or she aims to be an "Icam engineer" .

The presentationlasts 20 minutes, followed by a discussion with the members of the jury, for a total of around 55 minutes. In essence, the student explains his or her career choices, including the sector of activity, the type of company, the function envisaged, and a preferred management style.

At a deeper level, he explains what he aspires to live. This declaration is based on what he has lived through, on past experiences, reread and situated.

For the detailed organization of registrations, an e-mail is sent a few weeks before the event to all Icam engineers in the region, from classes prior to 119.
