You still have a few days to submit your application to the Challenge Solidarité Icam. This challenge, launched by the association's "Solidarity" department, is aimed at Icam engineers or students involved in an individual humanitarian project.

5 grants of up to €1,000 each are up for grabs for this first edition.

Projects will be evaluated according to the following criteria:

• its solidarity dimension

• the alumni's contributions and skills in carrying out the project
  
  
• the benefits of the project for the alumni, what they will gain from it

• the "integral ecology" dimension (a global approach that respects the environment and human dignity)

Who's the challenge for?

The challenge is open to alumni, students or engineers, members of the Icam Alumni association, who graduated before 2018 or who have paid their admission fee to the association.

Which projects are eligible and which are not?

• Individual projects of a humanitarian nature, in France or elsewhere, are eligible.
• Here are a few ideas: meal distribution, animation, design of technical objects, coaching - accompaniment - education, etc.
• For residents of disadvantaged neighborhoods, young people on integration schemes, people living in deprived areas, etc.

• Not eligible: compulsory school projects such as experiment, social mission, PAS (social action project), integral ecology mission, or highly structured projects such as the 4L trophy or Europraid.

How is the jury constituted?

The jury is made up of 6 people: the association's chaplain, the managing director, 2 engineers and two student representatives.

How to apply :

The application file consists of a summary sheet and a maximum of 5 pages of presentation, including the budget. It should be sent before October 30, 2025, to projets.solidaires@icam-alumni.fr

November :

• review of projects by the jury
• ranking and selection of finalists

December :

• communication of challenge winners

During and after their project, the winners of the challenge will communicate with the association to share their experience with alumni.
