Magis Jubilee in Rome: Icam students gather around the Pope
From July 28 to August 4, 2025, forty students from five Icam sites in France, accompanied by two chaplains, Fathers Hubert HIRRIEN and Maurice HOUEHA, took part in the jubilee organized with the Magis Network in Rome. This worldwide event brought together more than a million young people from every continent, for a spiritual, fraternal and universal experience.
A week of spiritual and fraternal experiences
During the week in Rome, we enjoyed a rich and varied program, with times of prayer and human and spiritual reflection (in the Magis circle), conferences and workshops, visits to emblematic Ignatian sites, not forgetting the passage through the Holy Door of the Basilica of Saint John Lateran .

On July 31, feast of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, a solemn mass was celebrated in the Church of the Gesù by Father Arturo Sosa, Superior General of the Society of Jesus. The celebration brought together the international delegations of the Magis Network, and was an important moment in the process of putting down roots in Ignatian spirituality.
The jubilee culminated in the great meeting at Tor Vergata, marked by a vigil and a closing mass presided over by Pope Leo XIV before hundreds of thousands of young people. In his homily, the Holy Father invited everyone to become a missionary disciple, bringing the joy of the Gospel and love to the world.
