On Thursday June 9, 2023, 24 ECAM and ICAM alumni visited the former Flins site, which has recently been transformed from an almost doomed automotive stamping plant into a circular economy plant, now Europe's largest, employing 2,000 people.

Its areas of activity include the retrofitting of used and accident vehicles(target 45,000 vehicles/year), the retrofitting of mechanical components (Choisy's former activity), the retrofitting of batteries and robots, the manual cataphoresis of spare parts, and the transformation of combustion-powered LCVs into electric ones. And let's not forget the innovation cluster, where a number of start-ups are incubating.

These are new professions that are being developed in this plant, professions that are very rewarding for the personnel. During our visit, we all appreciated the dynamic spirit that reigned here, and it was clear from the various presentations that Flins had no intention of resting on its laurels and further developing its business.
