Reinventing our local industry: how is Icam preparing for the challenge of tomorrow's industry?

How can we develop the attractiveness of our regions and find, recruit and train talent? We wanted to explore (re)localization initiatives in France as well as in Cameroon, with diverse experiences of innovation, transformation and evolution of design, production and supply chains. These stories offer hope for local industry in France and Cameroon. It's possible and it works!

You will also find in this issue a presentation of the new Board of Directors, chaired by Éric Siraudeau. Many thanks to the alumni who have worked with the association over the last few years, and in advance to those who have enthusiastically agreed to get involved.

Since this summer, Icam Strasbourg Europe has joined the Icam collective, and we are delighted that the alumni family is about to grow. You will find an update on the integration of this new school.

On March 18, 2023, the theme of the national meeting will be: Ecological Transition: Let's all take action.

This face-to-face meeting in Nantes will be broadcast to all sites and alumni gathering. Renowned speakers will share their experience and motivation: a great opportunity to exchange ideas and take action.

Our next issue will focus on the food production chain.

Many of us contribute to this essential activity of agriculture, the agri-food industry and agricultural machinery. This strategic business sector, which is undergoing major climatic, technological and ecological changes, deserves a spotlight from Icam alumni. Don't hesitate to share your story and contact us if this subject resonates with your personal and professional life.
