Entrepreneurship for shared success
With the support of her classmates, the Ucac-Icam graduate (2021) has founded UPYA Center, a center of excellence designed to help Congolese high-school students pursue cutting-edge academic studies. She runs the initiative on a voluntary basis, alongside her professional career.
What prompted you to set up UPYA Center when you graduated from Ucac-Icam? With a dozen fellow students who had followed the same engineering path between Congo, Cameroon and France, we came to the following conclusion: African students have a solid theoretical grounding in the sciences, but may encounter difficulties on the practical and conceptual levels.
