When art reconciles you with technology
After engineering school, Sébastien Berlinet (108 Toulouse) worked for 5 years in urban transport planning between Paris and Toulouse. In 2014, he spent a year and a half in New Zealand and Canada. On his return to France in 2016, he changed direction and set up as a luthier in the pink city.
Icam Liaisons (IL): How do you go from engineer to luthier? Sébastien Berlinet (SB): Music has always been part of my life. During my stay in Canada, I signed up for a course to build a guitar from start to finish. It was a world I knew nothing about, and I wasn't particularly handy, but after 2 days, I felt that something was happening. That's when everything changed! IL: What did that trigger?
